Like so many of you, I watched the world change around me. Brick-and-mortar shops shutting down one by one. Beloved local boutiques disappearing. And there I was, juggling a busy corporate job, barely finding time to get my shopping done — let alone done well.
I don't love shopping for the sake of it. What I wanted was simple: a few trusted places I could go to, people who knew their products, and the confidence that if something didn't work out, I'd be taken care of. That combination was getting harder and harder to find.
I loved boutiques and artisan goods. I wanted to support my local community. But realistically, I kept ending up at department stores — because they had the variety I needed and the policies that gave me peace of mind when something didn't turn out the way I hoped.
I couldn't find one place that had it all. So I decided to build it.
